Quick & Easy Bread Samosa/Kids Snack Recipe

Ingredients for Bread Samosa

Boiled & Mashed Potatoes – 2
Turmeric – ½ tbsp
Chilly Powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
Garam Masala – ¼ tbsp
Dry Mango Powder – ½ tbsp
Frozen Green Peas – 5 tbsp
Wheat Bread Slices – 6

Method
1. Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan once the oil is heated add jeera, boiled & mashed potatoes into it and mix them well.
2. Add turmeric, chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala & dry mango powder, salt, green peas and mix it well.
3. Turn off the heat and let it cool down.
4. Take out the edges of the bread slices. Roll the bread like a flat bread. In the same way, roll all the bread.
5. Put the potato mixture on the bread. Close the edges with the help of water.
6. When the oil is hot, deep fry them. Once it turns into golden brown colour, take them on a separate plate.
7. You can also bake some of the bread, grease them on both sides. Place them in a pre-heated oven at 350 F for 10 min. Baked bread samosa is ready.
8. Crispy and yummy bread samosa are ready to serve with tomato ketchup.

Malabar Paratha

Ingredients -

Maida - 250 gm
Sugar - 1 tsp
Milk - 100 ml
Oil - 2 tbsp
Desi Ghee - 1 tbsp

Method -


1. Make a dough of maida with sugar & milk. 

2. Add oil & knead well till it turns glutinous. 

3. Make dough balls & roll it out into a thin roti.

4. Pleat it from one edge, and gently stretch the dough.  

5. Roll inwards from other end and tuck the other end inside.

6. Press the dough gently & roll it out with a rolling pin.

7. Fry it with desi ghee. Serve hot.

Key Ingredients: maida, milk, desi ghee, sugar, oil, clarified butter, all-purpose flour

Aloo Paratha

Ingredients :-

Wheat Flour - 2 cups
Potatoes ( Boiled and Mashed) - 4
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
Dhania (Jeera) Powder - 2 tbsp
Amchur Powder - ½ tsp

Method :-


1. Make a dough with wheat flour.

2. Add all the ingredients in a bowl.

3. Put the filling in a rolled out Paratha, close the ends and roll again.

4. Roast it on a pan with little ghee/butter.

5. Serve hot with yoghurt, pickle and papad.
